TOWARDS IMPROVED SERVICE AND TRANSPARENCY: UNDIP TEAM II KKN STUDENT PROGRAM OPTIMIZES WEBSITE-BASED E-GOVERNMENT IN SENDANGREJO VILLAGE

Pati, Central Java, (10/8/2023) – It cannot be denied that the development of information technology has changed the paradigm of government governance. In it, the concept of e-government has brought major changes in transparency and public services. In this case, the Village Website-Based E-Government Optimization Program has shown an extraordinary role in building better transparency and more effective basic services at the village level.

Quality basic services and strong transparency are two important pillars in maintaining harmony between the village government and its residents. Good service means that people get easy and fast access to the public services they need. Meanwhile, transparency ensures that government actions and decisions are visible to the public, building trust and accountability.

As a contribution to building a good information system in Desa Sendangrejo, Tayu District, Pati Regency. One of the KKN TIM II students at Diponegoro University held a scientific program entitled "Village Website-Based E-Government Optimization Program in the Context of Transparency" which was carried out by Muhammad Nabil Ma Arif from the study program Bachelor of Public Administration Rembang Campus on August 2 2023 at the Sendangrejo Village Hall. The target participants in providing materials and training regarding the use of village websites are related tools that manage information on Desa Sendangrejo.

Website Based E-Government Optimization Program in Desa Sendangrejo is a concrete step towards better service and greater transparency. The E-Government Optimization program process carried out by UNDIP Team II KKN Student Nabil includes several important stages:

1. Village Website Development: A modern and user-friendly website was built to serve the residents of Sendangrejo village with an intuitive design that makes access and navigation easy for the community.
2. Village Profile Information: Provides information regarding the management and history of the village, as well as information about regional boundaries and demographics desa Sendangrejo.
3. Publication of Important Information: providing information related to budgets, development plans, programs and village government policies is published openly on the Sendangrejo website. This provides a complete picture of what the village government is doing.
4. Easy Online Services: The website becomes a gateway for public services such as permit applications, problem reporting, and social program registration. This speeds up the process and reduces the bureaucracy that occurs in desa Sendangrejo.

With the E-Government Optimization program on the website desa Sendangrejo, UNDIP Team II KKN Students hope that there will be strong openness and transparency in government desa Sendangrejo in providing open and easily accessible information and assisting the village government in providing services more quickly and easily while increasing the efficiency of the Community Administration process.

The Village Website-Based E-Government Optimization Program is not the final goal, but is the first step in providing a more inclusive and effective government. By continuing to develop and optimize this technology, village governments have the opportunity to improve services and build stronger transparency. Along the way, this program will inspire other innovations and open the door to a village government that is more modern, transparent and responsive to the needs of its community. (mnm)
